Face It With Faith
“Where is your faith?”
LUKE 8:25
Jesus asked His disciples this question because it was evident that the storm had terrified them. Jesus had told them they were going over to the other side of the lake. Had their faith been strong, it would have been evidenced by their peace in the middle of the storm.
It's the daily storms that come to us (both small and big) that test our faith. Our great consolation is that every storm that God allows to come our way works for our good if we love Him and are called according to His purposes (Romans 8:28). Therefore, peace should remain when trials come, and (because of Romans 8:28) we can even give thanks in the midst of them. Those who know we are going through trials should be able to see the answer to the question, "Where is your faith? Our faith should show on our faces. It should be seen in our eyes an heard from our lips. We all go though rough times, but we will get to the other side.

Is my heart fixed on God for the future? How can I fortify my faith in Him?
Father, help me to trust you in the storms
